Darling Quarter

The Darling Quarter playground is one of the busiest areas for youngsters to play in Sydney.plastic slide, climbing nets, balancing ropes, and sand play are all abundant.

On a hot day, the water play area there is perfect. Families can grab a bite to eat or a cup of coffee near the park at a number of establishments.

2. Clyne Reserve

This tiny but oh-so-beautiful playground is a true gem and can be found at the end of Merriman St, directly between Millers Point and Barangaroo Reserve. It includes twist slides, spicas, and monkey bars—everything children under five would require.

To keep older kids entertained, it also has a magnificent water play area with sand diggers, mazes, water pumps, and a gigantic flying fox.

3. The Tramshed

At The Tramshed, a fantastic restaurant district built in a beautifully renovated tram depot, Sydney's transportation history is brought back to life. It's a booming culinary district teeming with specialty shops run by some of Sydney's most innovative chefs, makers, and provedores.

An exquisitely restored R-class tram that spent 25 years trundling along the Spit Bridge to North Sydney line is housed inside the venue. The children can board and relive a portion of Sydney's past.
